St. Thomas More
Glendale, Arizona
The stained glass window is over 120 feet wide. This project includes a sculpture of a Risen Christ. This project also includes altar furnishings, a tabernacle and a large cross planted three dimensionally on the sanctuary floor with the risen corpus.
The window, itself, is a window of creation. It is titled and portrays the waters of redemption and suggests the waters receding from the floods of Noah, colliding in the center of the window with the waters of baptism at the foot of Calvary. A risen phoenix is to be discovered as the eye approaches the altar.
