The Ark is designed in crystal stained glass and bound by brass cane to a steel substructure. It measures 14 feet high by 8 feet wide. The Ark is in the form of an open scroll. It is designed to hold five scrolls and has a crystal polyurethane shophar with a light in it, representing the Eternal Light. The shophar is the symbol of the call to repentance and atonement. The doors slide and are also in crystal with the Ten Commandments in gold leaf Hebrew scriptures.
